Eagles Have Sendoff Party at Linc
On Sunday, the Eagles had a pep rally of sorts before they headed to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX. The birds landed safely in the big easy at approximately 1:00 p.m. They’ll now prepare for a week full of media and then of course, the big game next Sunday.

Celtics Outlast Sixers 118-110
Despite Tyrese Maxey piling up 23 points in the first half to help put the Philly up by 23 at the half, the Sixers couldn’t hold onto a large lead against the Celtics on Sunday. Boston went 15-for-22 (68.2%) in the fourth quarter from the floor with Jayson Tatum and Jaylon Brown leading the charge. The Celtics’ star duo scored 25 of the first 31 points in the fourth quarter as well.
The Sixers are 19-29 on the season.
Flyers Shutout for Third Consecutive Game
Despite a 30-save performance from Sam Ersson, the Flyers fall to the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday 3-0. It is the first time in franchise history that the Flyers have been shutout in three consecutive games The orange and black rolled out 11 forwards and seven defensemen in this one, as their new additions have not joined the club yet due to visa issues.
Philadelphia now has a 10-11-2 record against the Western Conference this season.
Union Trade McGlynn and Sign Lukić
In a surprising move, news broke Saturday that Union midfielder Jack McGlynn has been traded to Houston. The Dynamo will reportedly pay straight cash for the 21-year-old, with Philly retaining a sell-on clause for the midfielder.
In a corresponding move, the club are in the advanced stages of signing Serbian midfielder and youth international Jovan Lukić, according to José Nuñez.
